Track Rules & Policies

1st Sept 2009

Rules & Policies regarding the use of the track for practice need to be reconfirmed and understood by all our members. If you are a Kartsport Mt Wellington Member you should know the rules and policies. It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself and adhere to the rules when using the track for practice.

Track gate keys are available to hire on a casual basis or for a year. All key holders must sign an indemnity form on taking possession of their key. This indemnity covers you for the casual track use and must be renewed annually.

Kart shops also hire out keys for daily use to people who may well be non members. If they have a key they will have signed an Indemnity at the shop and paid a fee.

On arrival, unlock the gate, let yourself in then relock the gate. When you have finished your practice  Lock the Gate when leaving.

If there is another key holder arrive they will unlock the gate to let themselves in.

If non key holders arrive for casual practice and you unlock the gate and let them in they become your responsibility. If they wish to practice then they must sign an indemnity form and pay the appropriate fee. If an indemnity form is not available they then need to go to Right Karts or Lascom to fill out the form and obtain a key. The responsibly then is not yours

Common sense must prevail.
